let me congratulate you... for a nice & simple design of your website

Now what I would like to suggest you that,

1)You haven't specified anywhere on your homepage about the rules and regulations of the Poker game.. Now if a newbie(in poker) like me comes to your site will be in a confused state.. don't know how and where to proceed from the home page,clearly.
So please put a link, which gives the rules of the game in depth

2)The registration page has many fields and many of them are optional.. so I think only necessary fields should be there at the registration,so that the registration is simple and fast , and then if the user wants he can fill-in the details afterward

As of now, these are the suggestion from my side..

OK...the site is an eye catcher........

For SEO (Google) you need text for the engine spiders........about 250 or so words.......

You can get the engines through your article pages...they need to be long enough and keyword rich......engines rank pages and not sites....so you need links back to your home page with each article...

Also black backgrounds are hard to read for older eyes.....who spends the money.....

Otherwise every thing is clean and neat and seems to work well....

Site is clean and tidy ... too clean and tidy . It looks like a banner farm . Listen to Jim on this one ... without SEO in a nutshell... natural traffic will be slow to non existent and PPC will cost a fortune because of the lack of informative text .

I am not kicking the actual design... looks better than any site I own. Still, a good looking site no one will see is not going to be profitable .

Looks like Jim was right ... Here we are almost year later and the site is at 1.3 Million in Alexa... Wow... I have a site that is just 30 days old and is 780,000 in Alexa, just think where it will be a year from now because it uses...

Meta tags (nope they are not dead as some experts claim)

Off Page SEO
Keyword Optimization

yeh yeh, always bashing alexa and google but he sure spends a lot of time working on keeping them happy.

lol .. Actually I don't really bash Alexa... It is just that their stats are wrong which again so is any other program unless they have actual access to the server logs.

I find Alexa funny at times and even have them fully blocked from certain sites. With that said I only use their stats as everyone seems to think they mean something. It can help measure a site but is in no way correct...

yeh. I never could figure out what they are saying anyway. I just ignore them and keep going. the only thing i really worry about is how much traffic am i getting and is it converting. all these rankings and stats dont mean squat. as long as you have those two things you will be successful.

of course I a m lazy, and spend more time working for clients lately than on my own stuff, so I take the fastest way to look at my sites that I can when i do get a few minutes.

Oh I do not waste my time visiting Alexa.. I have a firefox plugin for useless PR and useless Alexa stats ....
